travel insurance
FSA regulation - what do I need to do?
From 1 January 2009 the FSA will regulate the sale of all travel insurance.
If you haven’t already started to plan for the future you need to start now. Most importantly for those travel organisers who wish to continue to sell travel insurance themselves the choice is limited to either apply for direct authorisation from the FSA or to become an appointed representative.
The most attractive solution for travel organisers is to become an appointed representative of an insurer. We can help to provide the expertise and experience to make the transition to appointed representative status a straightforward process.
why should I sell travel insurance?
Who better to provide travel insurance to their customers than travel organisers who have arranged their holiday?
Travel insurance is an essential part of any holiday and travel organisers are uniquely placed to sell travel insurance tailored to their customers’ needs. You know your holiday programme and the type of activities your customers will undertake. You can arrange a bespoke policy to cover your holiday programme with us.
For travel organisers, selling competitively priced travel insurance is more than just a sale to make, it is an extension of the customer care that you provide. An additional benefit to you is that it provides a valuable stream of additional income.
